Virgin Islands National Park

Well the most astonishing thing about this national park is that it comes with a beach. Virgin Islands National park is situated in US owned Virgin Islands at the Caribbean Sea. One of the most exciting features of this park is that you can enjoy a fully entertained day there. Its not just about the beach. You can boat around there and even visit the nearby historic landmarks. Although its a hassle to visit this island. You have to go through many obstacles to reach the national park but its worth it. 

Lassen Volcanic National Park

Lassen Volcanic National park is located in California. The state has almost 9 national parks and this park is one of them. The park takes a topsy turvy theme with a lot of unbalanced ground. Its also on the verge of going full red. As the name already suggests, this park’s focal point are the volcanos. There are several entertainment programmes also available there. The programmes mostly include of astronomical activities. Although this park records a relatively lower number of visitors than the others. 

New River Gorge National Park

Often referred to as “heavenly” by the people, this park is one of the most scenic landmarks in the country. Its named “New River” because of the river that flows through in between it. Its also the first national park being located in West Virginia. The park is situated on the Appalachian mountains. This gives the visitors a great opportunity to hike and bike around the mountains. There are also boating facilities available in the park. Another great feature of this park is that it doesn’t ask for any entrance fee. 

Kenai Fjords National Park

This national park almost looks like a set of a movie. It is rich with mountains along the sides. Its also widely known to be owning around more than 30 glaciers. The Kenai Fjords National park also offers visitors the luxury to climb and hike to watch glaciers. The boating services are top notch too. You can witness a number of sea creatures along the way such as humpback whales and orcas. This park is located in Alaska – which also has about 8 national parks. 

Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Carlsbad Caverns is probably the most adventurous National parks of all. It does not take that mainstream national park idea but its got so much more to it. Its based in the Guadalupe mountains, New Mexico. This is completely indoor as it has around 95 different caves. The main cave also known as the “Big Room” is the largest cave out of all of them. The unique theme is not the only reason why people visit this park but its also because of the bat programme. In this programme, many bats can be seen flying at night into the sky.
