Apple’s M2 Chip Vs The M1 Chip

Apple just recently announced their latest MacBook Pro. Apparently, people around the world believe it to be a powerhouse. The new Pro laptops will introduce the M2 chip. The inclusion of M1 chip was revolutionary enough but Apple doesn’t seem to stand down anyway soon. We are going to draw a comprehensive comparison between the M1 and M2 chip for MacBook Pro.

When it comes to the design of the new variant, nothing significant has been changed. Although the shocking reintroduction of the touch bar in MacBook Pro 2022 has stunned us all. Apple also took the liberty to keep the chassis and other parts intact. The potent battery life is also a plus. However, Apple didn’t change things in the bezel department as well. But the most awaited feature remains the M2 chip. A vigorous system that makes the MacBook run smoother. The chip invites a number of other features to be a part of it. A 10-core GPU, 8-core CPU alongside a magnificent unified memory of 24GB. These features surely put MacBook Pro 2022 in the category of ‘different gravy’.

On the other hand, the previous MacBook Pro maintained the M1 chip. This is chip was just the beginning of a new life ahead. It was highly applauded by the users. The M1 chip consisted of an 8-core GPU, 8-core CPU and a unified memory of 16GB. These are yet astonishing features but the M2 chips bags the first place in some aspects.
